Gender Equity Victoria (GEN VIC) is pleased to present our Annual Report 2024-25, highlighting our ongoing work strengthening gender equity across sectors, communities and government.

It has been another challenging year for women and gender diverse people with family violence continuing at crisis levels and a gender pay gap that, while narrowing, is still unacceptably high, especially for First Nations women, women from migrant and refugee backgrounds, and women with disabilities.

What has been heartening, however, is working side by side with our fearless members and sector peers to address these challenges and make Victoria a safer, more inclusive place for people of all genders. GEN VIC is proud to be our state’s independent peak body for intersectional gender equity, and we remain committed to advocating for meaningful systemic change.

A sincere thank you to our members, partners, funders, Board and staff for their tireless passion and outstanding contributions. We couldn’t do what we do without each and every one of you. This past financial year has been transformative for GEN VIC, and we look forward to continuing to collaborate in 2026.
